METAMORPHOSIS ·

Wavedashing for the Lord.

A nun races through a failed rapture with fast movement, guns and miracles.

Why it caught our eye

Aria is a nun looking for absolution in a world that built its own rapture and still fell apart. METAMORPHOSIS gives her a dash, double jump and wall jump from the start, so its horror moves at a pace you might expect from an action game.

Guns and miracles help her survive, but the fights still look desperate. Even confession comes with a warning about who might be listening. The mix of religious imagery, rapid movement and scarce resources is the reason to keep an eye on it.
