Nocturne’s digital afterlife is quietly falling apart, but the battles are anything but quiet. Time the notes to land your attacks; miss them and the enemy gets its turn. That’s a combination we’re keen to see carry a full story.

Benjamin Pracy has spent nine years building it, largely alone. There are 101 tracks and six difficulty levels, with boss music recorded by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra. The range of difficulties is particularly welcome for anyone drawn to the setting more than the hardest charts.
