Why it caught our eye

Walls Were Built to Fall puts you behind the defence instead of above it. A huge crowd pours down the valley, reaches the wall and climbs straight over. The barrier gives you time, but no guarantee of safety.

Traps, spells, archers and mages give you ways to fight back. The attraction is in combining them until the defence becomes gloriously excessive. Standing where the enemies land makes that tower-defence maths feel much less abstract.
